Welcome

Welcome to Handmadekid.com!

Please contact me with any questions about the test designs shown here. I'm always working to improve my products and designs and make them really work in the classroom and at home. If you don't see something you need, let me know and I might be able to make it for you!

I work in a small studio in a century-old house in Virginia. When my children began attending Montessori primary classes I started helping make materials for the school - towels, polishing mitts, hand towels, cloth boxes and baskets, a sewing kit, sitting mats, and continent folders. I'm adding slippers and aprons. Everything is made to the highest standards, laundered, and tested on my own children or in their school to see how the materials wear.

Please take a look around and contact me for information on ordering and shipping.

Continent Folders

These folders were born one day when Ms. P noticed the plastic folders that held photos for each continent were getting worn out and grim.
Each folder has a front flap with the color coded map of the continent and the name.  Constructed of beige denim and backed with interior cardboard these folders will last for years of rugged use.
These folders measure 18" across and 12" high and are about an inch deep, giving lots of room for letter or legal size photos and materials.
The sides of the folders are color coded as well, so depending on your shelves and organization you can quickly identify them in the pile.

You and your kids will love using these.
