Welcome

Welcome to Handmadekid.com!

Please contact me with any questions about the test designs shown here. I'm always working to improve my products and designs and make them really work in the classroom and at home. If you don't see something you need, let me know and I might be able to make it for you!

I work in a small studio in a century-old house in Virginia. When my children began attending Montessori primary classes I started helping make materials for the school - towels, polishing mitts, hand towels, cloth boxes and baskets, a sewing kit, sitting mats, and continent folders. I'm adding slippers and aprons. Everything is made to the highest standards, laundered, and tested on my own children or in their school to see how the materials wear.

Please take a look around and contact me for information on ordering and shipping.

Messenger Bags

Messenger bags are really useful to have around, for storing your countless collections (first you have to sort them!) or for hunting and gathering outside or around the house.  These three were made for all our medical supplies and for at-home role play.
Those below were made for a scavenger hunt two years ago and have been used and reused at the school ever since.
Any logo or sentiment can be put on the front flap, and they can be made as wide or as deep as necessary.
I keep the straps short and the dimensions manageable for small people but teachers sometimes need a few bags for their collections too.
